How to prove your income
- If you are employed, the lender will require written evidence of your income, for example payslips and/or your P60 for a number of years. They will usually also ask for written confirmation of your employment status with your employer.
- If you are self employed, you will need to provide three years of audited accounts. If your business has been running for a shorter time period, the lender will require some other proof of employment, such as a letter from your accountant.
